I'm Morgan! Can I say, you're looking fabulous today?
Just a tiny bit about me: I love Jesus, Kit Kats, and tall men.
I, myself, am on the taller side of average at 5'7", but I'm thankful I'm not tall enough to stand out. My bright red hair helps me stand out enough already (and yes, it's natural).
I've always had a thing for tall guys. In high school, I never dated, but it didn't stop me from checking guys out. My best friend and I would walk around and she'd say, "That one's cute." I'd just shake my head and respond, "He's not tall enough."
I don't know where my idea of needing a tall man came from. Perhaps it's came from my mom who always mentions how she loves having a tall husband (my dad is 6'2"). Perhaps it came from wanting to be able to wear heels and not be taller than my man. (Do I wear heels? Hardly ever, but the option is nice!) Wherever it came from, it's stuck with me.
That's how I got here!
I'm married to my 6'7" super skinny husband, Andy. We dated for 13 1/2 months, were engaged for 5 1/2 months, and have been married since May 28, 2017. It was quick, but we knew what we wanted and didn't want to wait around. Looking back, I wouldn't do it any other way.
But enough about that; let's talk about why I'm writing this blog. I knew it was hard to find clothes for tall people, but I didn't realize how hard it is if the tall person is also skinny. There is a surprising lack of clothing choices available for Tall Skinny People.
The annoying thing is that you go and try to find tall, skinny clothes and websites seem to have them, but then you get there and the only tall items are for XXL and up. That's NOT skinny. My husband is a size Medium. Give me something to work with!
Andy and I are dreamers. One day, we hope to be able to have a website where we can sell clothes, shoes, accessories, sporting equipment, and more. Everything a tall skinny person needs in one place. No worries about getting there and only having average sized things left.
My goal is to fill this blog with websites, deals, and places that tall skinny people can buy things now. Because until we get our dream up and running, we still have to buy clothes. And so do you, so hit me up with some places you shop. Where do you get your tall skinny stuff?
